New York, NY -- Are you the proud owner of an HP or Epson printer or scanner? Are you a Mac user who has converted over to Snow Leopard and is looking for new drivers? Well, you are in luck. According to the PC World website, both are now available for download from Apple’s download page.
The Epson driver you are looking for should be version 2.4, but be warned, it is a gigantic file—737 MB to be exact. It should allow for updated compatibility between OS X 10.6 or later and numerous printers and scanners.
The HP drivers are not quite as large as the Epson, but still a good size at 388MB. The actual size may vary somewhat depending on which driver it is that you need. For these drivers to work, you need to have at least Mac OS X 10.6.1 and like the Epson counterpart, provides communication between computer and device for multiple machines.
Either of the two updates can also be installed via Software Update or through Apple’s Website for Support Downloads here: http://support.apple.com/downloads/.
