Reviewed earlier this month by PrinterComparison.com, the Epson Artisan 710 Printer
is successor to the Artisan 700 which debuted last year.
The 710 retained the features of the 700, but added in automatic 2-sided printing as a new feature. Offering a maximum
print resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi, the 710 is capable of churning out both color and monochrome pages at a maximum of 38
pages per minute.
It can be connected to your PC or Mac via USB cable, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi also enables wireless printing from your
iPhone or iPod touch. The Epson Artisan 710 Printer
does not have a small footprint, measuring 5.9" x 25.8" x 17.6" (H x W x D). You can print
directly from a variety of memory cards including CompactFlash Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Pro Duo,
SD, SDHC, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Card and some others as well.
The printer also offers a 2.5” tiltable LCD screen for previewing photos and access to menus. In terms of paper, the Artisan 710 can
hold up to 120 sheets of plain paper, 10 envelopes, and 20 sheets of photo paper simultaneously for your convenience.
Featuring Epson’s CLARIA ink, this printer comes with a six-cartridge bay which includes the following colors: High Capacity Black (98 / T099220) which does
not have a regular yield model, Cyan (T099220), Light Cyan (T099520), Magenta (T099320), Light Magenta (T099620), and Yellow (T099420) which
are all Epson 99 cartridges aside from the black. Each of the color cartridges has high yield equivalents which are Epson 98s. One other nice feature
worth noting is that it offers a power outlet Overall, this is very nice printer for the price and could be used in either a home, home office, or small
business environment.
