Epson Picturemate Charm Printer Review

In a press release issued October 13th on Epson's North American corporate website, they announced the release of the latest printer in their Picturemate line, Epson Picturemate Charm Personal Photo Lab Inkjet Printer . Now out, it retails for around $150 and is available at amazon.com .

As with the previous models in the line, it prints 4" x 6" photos and retains all of the features of previous models. The Epson Picturemate Charm Personal Photo Lab Inkjet Printer can print out a photo in as little as 37 seconds, according to Epson. This is a small printer, designed to be portable, so it can travel with you wherever you and your camera or computer go. It can work with or without a PC and offers consumers the convenience of printing from a variety of memory card slots: CompactFlash (Type I/II), Secure Digital (SD), SDHC, MMC, xD-Picture Card™ (Type M/H), Microdrive, and Memory Stick.

Wireless printing is also available via an optional Bluetooth adapter. The Charm also features a 2.5" LCD screen for viewing and adjusting pictures. Picturemate printing packs which contain ink as well as 150 sheets of photo paper retail for under $40, making the cost very reasonable to consumers.
