If you are a business thinking about switching away from a laser printer, the HP Officejet 6000 Wireless Printer
originally reviewed by PC World in May 2009, could be the solution you need. It offers users a maximum print speed of 32 pages per minute for black and white jobs and 31 pages per minute for color jobs. It has about an average footprint, measuring 6.45" x 18.7" x 18.03" (H x W x D). It's input paper tray will hold up to 250 sheets of paper at time, and there is an automatic duplexer that can be installed onto the back of the machine (not included in package).
In terms of ink, the HP Officejet 6000 Wireless Printer
uses four separate cartridges, all HP 920s (and reasonably priced), in black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. Each of these cartridges also have a high-capacity (XL) option as well. It is both PC and Mac compatible and will print at a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. It should be noted that consumers have to install the print head themselves on this machine because it is separate from the ink cartridges.
You can connect your PC to this printer via USB, Ethernet, or wirelessly (for easy printer sharing). The print quality was reported by PC World to be better than average, especially in terms of text. Overall, if you are an environmentally-friendly home office or small business looking to lower your energy costs , without spending a lot of money on ink, this would be a good bet.
