Last reviewed by PC World in March, the HP Photosmart D7560 Printer
is another quality machine from one of the top printer manufacturers. It is a reasonably faster printer capable of a maximum of 33 pages per minute for black and white jobs and 31 pages per minute for color jobs. A color photo can be printed in roughly 18 seconds. It is not an oversized printer, measuring 7.2" x 18.03" x 15.08" (H x W x D ). One nice feature apparent right off the bat is the large 3.5" LCD color touch screen that is capable of sitting at a multitude of angles where you can preview your photos before printing.
The Photosmart D7560 comes with a variety of memory card slots (Memory Stick, SD Card, XD Picture Card, and CompactFlash) and a PictBridge port for direct printing of photos. The D7560 will print at a maximum optical resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi. You can connect it to your PC or Mac via a typical USB 2.0 connection or wirelessly (with the purchase of additional equipment). Another feature of this printer is it's dedicated photo paper tray which will hold up to 5" x 7" photo paper.
In terms of ink, the HP Photosmart D7560 Printer
uses five separate cartridges: black, cyan, magenta, yellow (all HP564s) and a black photo ink cartridge(HP 564 Photo). All of the cartridges have high-capacity options which may save the user some money depending on their average print volume. The D7560 also comes with a CD/DVD labeler which is nice feature for a printer at this price point. If you don't need that functionality, the HP 5460 is also v a very capable device. Overall, for the price and features, this machine will leave the average person fairly happy.
