New York, NY -- We initially mentioned the Pinnacle Pro when its release was announced in March 2010. This printer, by the way, had already been an award recipient almost from the moment it was released, so it has had some success already.
The Pinnacle Pro has many of the same features as another printer from Lexmark’s Pro line, the Prestige Pro including a 4.3” touch screen, a 50-page ADF, and 150-sheet capacity input tray. In terms of its size, it is fairly standard for an inkjet measuring 10” x 18” x 23” (HxWxD) with the trays extended and weighs approximately 20 lbs.
The 4.3” screen is equipped with Lexmark’s “myTouch” technology which offers the convenience of one-touch access to main devices, apps, and other things as well. Other features of this printers include a PictBridge/USB port as well as individual memory card slots that are compatible with a variety of memory card types.
The paper tray is able to handle paper up to 8.5 x 14” in size and multiple finishes and weights. The Pinnacle can be connected to your PC or Mac via USB 2.0, Ethernet, or wirelessly.
In terms of ink, the printer uses four individual ink cartridges. The standard black cartridge will yield about 510 pages and costs $4.99. Though, if you use the return program cartridges, a set of all four high-capacity cartridges will cost you $54.98.
