In a recent news story on the Canon's corporate website, Canon and HP announced another project in their ever-burgeoning business relationship. This joint venture of the two industry giants will aim to combine the best features of each to improve workflow for companies worldwide.
The partnership will offer customers a greater breadth and depth of web-enabled printing solutions that utilize Canon's high quality multifunction device capabilities and imaging technology and HP's device manageability, IT integration, and office workflow solutions.
The alliance includes both present and future product portfolios from each company which will give customers an unsurpassed array of devices and processes to meet their needs. HP and Canon themselves will benefit as well, as each have agreed to give the other access to various third-party management and software solutions. These new services will be available to customers and companies is expected to be available not only to North America and Europe but also worldwide.
Spokespeople from both companies felt the alliance was a win-win scenario for both sides.
