Compatible Ink Cartridges - Difference between compatibles and remanufactured inks

This video from Castle Ink explores the differences between compatible and remanufactured printer cartridges. Learn which kind of ink cartridge is right for you.

Transcript

Compatible (sometimes referred to as generic ink cartridges) are newly manufactured to meet or exceed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications. Containing only new components, they are the economical and sensible alternative to expensive brand name ink cartridges.

Remanufactured ink cartridges also meet or exceed OEM specifications. The remanufacturing process involves disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, replacing worn parts, reassembling, and refilling the toner or ink. Once the remanufacturing process is complete, the ink cartridge is then tested, sealed, and packaged for resale.
