New York, NY -- Announced in a press release from January 26, Epson has made the latest printer in the professional disc printing line, the Discproducer Autoprinter. Designed with commercial businesses in mind the device is capable of printing a maximum of 95 discs per hour. According to Epson, it is ideally suited for organizations such as houses of worship, education, audio production, and more because it offers those organizations the ability to pre-print discs for publishing.
The Discproducer Autoprinter has a maximum storage capacity of 100 discs and can do a print run of up to 1,000 discs. It takes advantage of Epson’s MicroPiezo technology to print items with exceptionally high quality, precision, and readability. It relies on a robotic arm to carefully move the discs around to avoid mishandling or accidentally trying to print on two discs simultaneously.
Some of the other highlights include:
The cartridges used can produce over 1,000 discs before running out of ink and the ink system is made up of individual tanks so you only have to replace the color you need.
The Batch mode allows the user to print 95, 75, or 50 discs per hour, based on what level of quality and speed are needed.
The device comes with intuitive software which makes the creation of labels very simple.
