In an article from the Edmonton Sun, reports on one of HP's "greenest" printers, the HP Photosmart A646
compact photo printer. This model on the outside looks like many other printers can produce photos sans PC through it's multitude of memory card slots. The difference is in its makeup. A third of its body is made from recycled plastics. The biggest difference is in its packaging however. HP sends the A646 out in a case (also made from recycled materials) with no styrofoam, cardboard, or any other environmentally unfriendly products that end up in your trash can.
