The New Epson Show

New York, NY -- According to CNet.com, the latest in Epson’s line of portable photo printers, the Show, could be a nice addition this holiday season. The Show gives you a digital photo frame and a compact photo printer in one device. It comes with a 7” WVGA tilt screen and 270MB of internal memory. It offers media card slots (Supports CompactFlash, SD, SDHC MMC, Memory Stick, Microdrive, and xD-Picture Card) and a USB port for downloading pictures from your digital camera.

The Show offers users a maximum resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi and can a 4” x 6” in photo in 37 seconds (according to Epson). The printer has not been tested by CNet as of yet, so they could not confirm the print speed. It is a dye-sublimation printer and uses Epson’s “ ‘Advanced MicroPiezo’ ” technology for printing its photos. One nice additional feature is the remote control that comes with the Show which allows users to access all of the printer’s commands.
