New York, NY -- From a story which appears on the PC Magazine website we learned that Kodak has added an additional printer to their ESP lineup, the 9250. .
This new device developed by Kodak has amongst its features a reportedly better control panel as well as Wi-Fi printing (through an app) from Apple devices like the iPad. It also comes with a variety of memory card slots and a 2.4” LCD.
Kodak has said that the ESP 9250 is capable of print speeds up to 32 pages per minute at a maximum resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi. In terms of photo printing, reportedly this printer can output 4x6” photos in roughly 28 seconds. P>
In terms of paper handling, the ESP 9250 adds the convenience of automatic duplexing as well as an ADF, but we were unable to find the capacity at the time of this writing. It comes with a separate photo tray which will hold up to 40 sheets of paper at a time.
As with most Kodak models, this printer claims the lowest ink replacement costs a consumer will find. It may be cheap ink, but at the end of the day it’s still a two-cartridge system including a tricolor ink cartridge and a black cartridge. No release date has been set, but when it does become available the price will be $249.99.
