Kyocera Printer Honors

In a press release dated October 5, 2009 on the BusinessWire website, it was announced that the color printer line of ECOSYS printers by Kyocera won prestigious Editor's Choice awards from Better Buys for Business. Better Buys is an independent organization regarded as an authority on document imaging products. The winning printers are the FS-C5400DN, FS-C5350DN, FS-C5300DN , FS-C5200DN and FS-C5100DN.

Each of these machines are EnergyStar certified and produce high-quality image output. Better Buys also has stated that "[Kyocera color printers] are powerful workgroup printers that offer respectable paper handling capabilities and provide impressive consumables costs." They also indicate that Kyocera's black and white output is exceptional and their color output offers a cost per page at half the rate of comparable machines in the industry. Award recipients are ranked across many categories, including in which are full specifications and their cost per page data.

These machines are designed for businesses and are priced accordingly. The prices vary from as much as $2,593 for the FS-C5400DN down to $942 for FS-C5300DN with the other three printers at various price points in between.
