Lexmark Gains Blue Angel Certification

New York, NY -- According to the Internet Ink website, Lexmark has been recognized in Germany now for it’s environmental efforts. They were recently awarded Blue Angel certification, the German equivalent of the United States Energy Star certification. The X65x series received 11 such awards.

To get this recognition, the product must show low power consumption, low chemical emissions, and low acoustic emissions. In addition, the products must be recyclable and the printer manufacturers must have their own recycling program in place for their printers, ink, and toner.
