Lexmark X7675 PRO - Printer Review

The Lexmark X7675 is a great bet for an all-in-one printer solution for either your home or office. With its easy wireless setup, it's a great complement to a home network or office LAN using software included in the package. The print speed is reasonable at up to 32 pages per minute for black and white pages or 27 pages per minute for color pages. It is not quite as fast as the Epson Artisan 800, but it also costs $100 less. The X7675 offers a wide range of slots for memory cards and connections (PictBridge USB, SD, MS, xD, MMC, CF, and MD) and the display panel is on hinges so the viewing angle can be adjusted. It is both PC and Mac compatible and offers a great five-year warranty on parts and service that will transfer to the new owner if you sell it. Color printing can be done at up to 4,800 x 1,200 optimized dpi while black and white is reasonable at 2400 x 1200 dpi. A nice additional feature of the X7650 is the 25-page auto document feeder. In terms of ink, the printer uses separate cartridges ( 42A / 18Y0342) for it's black ink and a tri-color (41A / 18Y0341) for color ink. There are high-yield cartridge options as well for a little bit more money. Overall, the X7650 is a very good printer for the price with all of the features and a worthy solution for your home or office.
