What is MicroPiezo Technology?

MicroPiezo technology is at the center of every Epson printer to ensure the precision and quality of the printed product. In the microscopic nozzles that are in the print head, Epson has small piezo electric elements which vibrate rapidly, allowing the ink to be fired quickly onto the page. A unique feature of this technology is that there is not heat involved in getting the ink to the paper. This results in more precision and control of the size of the droplets going on to your print job. According to Epson, the droplet size can be as small as 1.5 picoliters, guaranteeing an accurate rendering of your file or photo.
