Canon has a line of photo printers that print only photos, meant to rival professionally produced photos. The have added two new printers to that line.

The Canon SELPHY ES40 costs $150. The ES40 features a preview LCD screen, a post-iPod scroll wheel to navigate with, and a voice guidance system. Despite these modern features, the ES40 cannot escape looking like a baby monitor. But its portability can’t be beat. The Canon SELPHY CP790 is a slightly higher end SELPHY that carries a price tag of $180. The CP790 also uses batter or AC power, and has the option of functioning without a pc hook-up. It comes with a carrying basket that also makes it easy to keep supplies along with it, like ink and paper. A variety of print sizes are possible, from credit card to postcard.
