New York, NY -- According to Kelly Turner of Macworld.com, Mimomonitors.com has joined the in fray for digital photo frame superiority and has added their own photo frame and printer to the market.
The iMo photo frame has an 8” LCD screen with a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. It is capable of printing photos at 300 dpi. It is important to note that this product is a standalone, and does not connect to any PC or Mac. Instead, it offers media card slots as a means to print. It supports USB (connection from your digital camera), CF, SD, MS, MMC, and xD cards. For the Memory Stick and SDHC cards, you will need an adapter.
The frame comes standard with a remote control and can display pictures as a slideshow. It retails for $230, and replacement cartridges that last for 36 prints will run $20. The starter cartridge will print 12 photos.
