New York, NY -- It was announced earlier this week that one of the leading industry research and analysis groups, Lyra Research, has been acquired by Photizo, also a well-respected analysis firm. This conjunction of the two groups instantly has created a larger, more wide-reaching team of analysts for the industry.
Under the new agreement, CEO Ed Crowley, and COO Frank Steffanson, Jr. will remain in their positions. The founder of Lyra Research, Charles LeCompte will remain with the company as a senior analyst and spokesman. Each of the two companies have a specific skill set which is now operating together. Lyra has expertise in the analysis of imaging products, companies, and markets, while Photizo has a wealth of experience in analysis of the managed document services industry.
In terms of location, Photizo’s Midway, Kentucky location will serve as the new company headquarters, although Lyra will keep their offices in Newtonville, Massachussetts open. Frank Steffanson, Jr. said in regards to the new venture, “ ‘…Together, the firms provide a very comprehensive view of the market – from hardware to supplies to services and document management. The union will provide a complete view of the industry and clients of both firms will see a vastly enhanced level of value.’”
