Some printer models that use the HP #21 (HP C9351AN), HP #22 (HP C9352AN) and the HP #56 (HP C6656AN), HP #57 (HP C6657AN) may display bad circuit errors after the color ink cartridge has been replaced.
To resolve this issue, (1) remove the black ink cartridge, (2) remove the color ink cartridge, (3) reinstall the black ink cartridge, and (4) then reinstall the color cartridge. The error message should go away after the printer re-initializes.
