New York, NY -- An article posted today on PrinterComparison.com said that Samsung has released four new color laser printers aimed at the small to medium sized business (SMB) environment. The printers are the Samsung CLP-620ND, CLP-670ND, CLX-6220FX, and CLX-6250FX and each comes with Samsung’s Instant Fusing technology which involves a flexible sleeve and lamp rather than a roller with a heating element. This type of setup reportedly allows for quicker printing and consumes less energy. All of the printers will also come with Samsung’s Easy Color Manager and Fine Edge technology. These elements give the users access to change the settings for color balance, brightness, contrast, saturation, and more.
The two less expensive models, the CLP-620ND and the CLP-670ND are single function laser printers and the two more expensive models, the CLX-6220FX and CLX-6250FX are multifunction laser printers. All four of the machines come standard with built-in network capability and automatic duplexing.
Both the CLP-620ND and CLX-6220FX come with print speeds as fast as 21 ppm in color, a 360 MHz processor with 256 MB of memory standard, and their maximum monthly duty cycle is up to 65,000 pages. The other two models, the CLP-670ND and the CLX-6250FX are a slightly more robust with print speeds as fast as 25 ppm in color, a 700 MHz processor with 256 MB memory standard, and their maximum monthly duty cycle is up to 80,000 pages.
All of these models are currently available on the market from both local retailers and business resellers. The CLP-620ND retails for $399, the CLP-670ND for $599, theCLX-6220FX for $699, and CLX-6250FX for $899.
