New York, NY -- According to PC Magazine, Epson has announced three new printers that will be the latest editions to the ever-popular and successful Artisan line. The latest devices, the Artisan 725, Artisan 725 Arctic Edition, and Artisan 835 are aimed at home users.
Amongst their notable features, one that photo enthusiasts will love is the ability to print a 4x6” photo in less than 10 seconds! Other admirable features include a 38ppm maximum print speed, a six-color ink system (includes black, cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, and light magenta), and can be configured to print jobs from iPhones and other mobile devices. Each of the three printers are wireless ready right out of the box. Perhaps the most unique feature though, which will help to set these printers apart is their ability to charge cell phones and MP3 devices through a front-facing USB port.
The Artisan 725 and 725 Arctic Edition are essentially the same printer, with the only difference being the color with the former having a black exterior and the latter a white one. They each have a 2.5” LCD screen and are 3-in-1 (print, scan, and copy) devices.
The Artisan 835 also gives the user the added convenience of a 7.8” LCD touch panel with a 3.5” LCD preview screen and also a 30-page ADF. In addition, the 835 allows you to print CDs and DVDs and PC-Fax software for sending faxes right from your computer.
All three of the printers are due out next month. The two Artisan 725s will retail for about $200 and the 835 for $300. Be sure and check back with us for a more thorough review.
