Tampa, FL -- Xerox continues to further expand its managed print services reach. As reported in a press release from Xerox’s corporate site, one of their subsidiaries, Global Imaging Systems, has now acquired Merizon Group Incorporated who is based out of Appleton, WI.
The move goes along with Global Imaging’s strategy to cultivate a nationwide network of companies who are dedicated to streamlining document workflow and improving the efficiency of office environments. Over this past year, they have made similar acquisitions in Iowa, New York, Illinois, Virginia, and Florida.
Merizon Group operates as MBM, which was previously known as Modern Business Machines. MBM works as an independent distributor of Canon, Samsung, and Kyocera Mita copiers, printers, and MFPs. Now they can add Xerox products to that list which will further enhance the solutions they can provide their current and new customers. Their customers will also be able to leverage Xerox’s technology and MPS offerings.
As part of the move, Fritz Merizon will remain in his current position as the company president.
