Canon BJC 250 Inkjet Printer

This Canon printer has been around for a while now – we’d be surprised if you can still find this printer in retail stores.  It features photo-quality images with pretty realistic tones, chromes, and whites.  By today’s standards it is extremely slow, reaching a max speed of only 4 pages per minute.  Its resolution is very poor compared to today’s photo printers – its max resolution is only 720 X 360 dpi.  At one time this was an excellent printer option – now there are too many fast, high-quality, inexpensive printers out there.  The Canon BJC 250 does not have good ink management software that alerts you when ink is running low, it does not use multiple ink cartridges like modern printers, and the ink tends to smudge.  Our advice – do not buy this printer.
