Canon BJC S400 Inkjet Printer

This Canon printer has a max speed of 9 pager per minute in black with 1440 X 720 dpi.  It is compatible with both Mac and PC platforms and comes with Canon’s standard 1 year warranty.  When it was released in 2001, it was light years ahead of other printers.  But by today’s standards, it no longer matches up.  It produces fairly good quality black and white documents, but cannot match today’s photo printers in terms of color printing quality.  A full page picture would take forever to print and it certain would not come out looking like an actual photograph.  It just can’t do photo-quality pictures.  We would not recommend this printer.  There are many more affordable, higher quality photo printers in the market today that are a much better value.
