This is an excellent photo quality printer that offers 4800 X1200 dpi resolution. It can print at speeds of 18 ppm in black and 12 pages per minute in color. It uses the advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology to produce remarkably clear print outs. Its print heads produce 5-picoliter droplets, producing smooth, realistic images. The borderless printing option on this machine makes it one of our favorites. Produce 4 X 6, 5 X 7, and 8.5 X 11 borderless printers that resemble those produced in most photo labs. Just one warning – this printer doesn’t come with a USB cable so be prepared to shell out a few extra dollars. You might also experience some problems with the paper feed – it seems like paper tends to jam up in the Canon i450 inkjet printer. Overall this is a pretty solid printer for producing photos.
