Canon i80 Inkjet Printer

The Canon i80 packs performance and features in quite a convenient and portable package. The main strengths of the i80 are its small size and ease of use, but it maintains it without sacrificing quality. The less than 4 pound printer can connect to a PC or MAC; but it can also work standalone via its PictBridge port for directly connecting to your digital camera. The i80 can impressively print up to 8 x 14 color photos at max 4,800 x 1,200 dpi with crisp, vivid colors comparable to larger high end photo printers, and it does it at as swift 12 pages per minute average max speed. For maximum portability and connectivity the i80 comes with optional batteries, a car adaptor, and an adaptor for Bluetooth support, although they are a bit pricey. The printer uses two ink cartridges: a black (BCI-15Bk) and color (BCI-15C) at a relatively efficient rate. The only two negatives are a slight tendency to paper jam at times and the expensive price tag (especially if you add the optional equipment). Overall, the Canon i80 is the best option in portable high quality photo printing, if you’re willing to pay.
