Its real strength is in its photo printing which impressively exceeds its low end price tag. The Pixma iP6210D prints at a resolution of up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. The printer allows for computer free printing through its PictBridge port for direct connecting to your digital camera and slots for all major memory cards; although the lack of LCD screen while expected still makes memory card printing guess work. There is also infrared printing via your PDA or cell phone and an optional Bluetooth adaptor. The Pixma iP6210 prints at a swift average top speed of 20 pages per minute. The printer uses a single tricolor ink cartridge (CL-51 Color) with the option adding a photo tricolor ink cartridge (CL-52 Photo) for 6 color photo printing. Be wary however, since non individual printer cartridges are more inefficient and might lead to higher costs in the long run; also the lack of dedicated black ink is also a concern.
