The Pixma iP90 connects to a PC or MAC; but it can also work standalone via its PictBridge port for directly connecting to your digital camera or integrated infrared ports for printing from your PDA or cell phone. The Pixma iP90 can impressively print up to 8 x 14 color photos at max 4,800 x 1,200 dpi with crisp, vivid, high quality colors but the i80 actually might be more consistent in quality. The speed is still swift with 12 pages per minute average max speed. The Pixma iP90 also has options for batteries, a car adaptor, and an adaptor for Bluetooth support, but at a price. The printer uses two ink cartridges: a black (BCI-15Bk) and color (BCI-16) at a relatively efficient rate. The unimproved but still impressive print quality and the expensive price tag (especially if adding the optional equipment) are the only real downsides of this printer.
