Epson Stylus C40UX Inkjet Printer

Looking for an affordable color printer?  The Epson C40UX won’t wow you with speed or quality, but it gets the job done.  It’s affordable and reliable, good enough for any home user with fairly basic printing needs.  It sets up fairly easy and is a snap to operate and maintain.  This printer uses Epson’s Micro Piezo printer heads and Ultra MicroDot and VSD technology.  The end result is fairly high quality print resolution at fast speeds with minimal downtime.  Our warning to you --  you’re going to buying ink cartridges for this printer because it drinks printer ink.  The ink cartridges are tiny, so be prepared to replace them on a monthly basis.  The only other major flaw on the Epson C40UX is the noise.  I haven’t seen many printers as noisy as this one.  Beyond that though, this is a pretty solid entry-level printer for home users.  Keep in mind that you really do get what you pay for with printers.
