Epson Stylus CX 1500V Inkjet Printer

The Epson Stylus CX1500v is a budget priced multifunction printer and is a decent choice given the price. All the basics are there, the scanning, photocopying, and printing, all in an adequate capacity. The photo quality is at an adequate 2880 x 720 dpi, the scanning and copying is at an adequate 48 bit 600 dpi. The printing speed is an adequate 12 pages per minute for black text and varyingly longer times for photo prints. One nice feature is the ability to make black and white photocopies without the need of a PC (only PC compatible). The CX1500v also uses the older two color ink cartridge system of Epson black T038125and multicolor T039025 so replacing the color ink cartridge when only one variety is depleted could turn out to be wasteful and expensive. Overall, it is the adequate features and the exceptionally low price that might warrant some consideration form more budget minded households, but you could do a little better.
