Epson CX5200 Inkjet Printer Review

The Epson CX5200 is not one of our favorite all-in-one printers.  While it does offer four separate ink cartridges and some pretty good copying features, it doesn’t stack up to the competition.  We find the feeding mechanism is noisy, the ink cartridges are expensive, the software is unfriendly, and the color printing is not up to photo standards.  It might work for a low-volume user – but for anyone looking for a workhorse, look elsewhere.  Ink management is a drag, the print heads tend to clog quickly, and small fonts tend to print out poorly.  We do not recommend this printer.
