The PictureMate Deluxe Edition provides all the benefit of previous models with two additions: a color LCD for viewing and the portability of a battery pack. The 2.4 inch LCD screen allows for true computer free viewing and editing of pictures directly from your digital camera or memory stick. The battery pack allows for maximum portability however the $69.99 battery is sold separately. It still utilizes the 6 color pigment Epson T5570 ink and provides lab quality 4 x 6 prints at an economical 29 cents a print. The speed is estimated to be slightly faster than the express edition at around 75 seconds per print, but that’s still a relatively slower rate. Overall, this is the best quality Epson PictureMate available in terms of features and performance.
