Epson Stylus Photo R1800 Printer

The Epson Stylus Photo R1800 is a medium format photo printer for the photo enthusiast. The R1800 utilizes 8 individual Epson UltraChrome Hi-Gloss™ pigment ink cartridges to create exhibition quality photo prints on glossy and matte papers as large as 13 x 44 (which is achieved through the roll paper feature). It also prints directly on inkjet printable CDs and DVDs. The print speeds are fairly swift with a 4 x 6 print taking an estimated 46 seconds, while 11 x 14 prints take about 1 minute 50 seconds. While it has no direct print connections or memory card slots it does utilize high speed USB 2.0 and FireWire ports and is PC and MAC compatible. Overall this is a quality photo printer for the serious photographer.
