The HP Business Inkjet 1200dtwn is a quality inkjet printer for any small office. The PC and MAC compatible, Inkjet 1200dtwn prints at a maximum setting of 4,800 x 1,200 optimized dpi, sharp, quality text and graphics, and fair quality photos. It has a 4 color ink printing system that utilizes individual ink cartridges (HP 10 Black Ink, HP 11 Cyan Ink, HP 11 Magenta Ink, HP 11 Yellow Ink) a rare find among HP printers that will give more efficient and cost effective ink usage. This is the high end of the 1200 line and includes all the previous features: double-sided printing, Ethernet support, an extra 50 page tray, and now built in wireless network support (a great deal). The minor downsides mainly involve photo printing. While it has a relatively swift max text and graphic printing speed of around 24 pages per minute, the photo printing is quite slow, taking 7 and a half minutes for an 8 x 10 photo print on high quality. While the Inkjet 1200dtwn might be the high end model of the series it is still, comparatively one of the best prices for the performance and features it offers.
