The HP Business Inkjet 2800dt is an updated version of the original 2800 medium format inkjet printer. This model is improved by the addition of an additional paper tray that holds another 250 sheets and double sided printing capabilities. The Inkjet 2800dt prints high quality 4,800 x 1,200 dpi prints up to 13 x 19. The text and graphics are high quality; however the photos look merely fair. The printer uses 4 individual ink cartridges (HP 10 Black Inkjet, HP 11 Cyan Inkjet, HP 11 Magenta Inkjet, and HP 11 Yellow Inkjet) which allow for more efficient and economical ink usage. The photo printing speed is quite slow with a high quality 8.5 x 11 image taking nearly 12 minutes and text and graphics fairing a little better at a max of 24 pages per minute. Overall, the 2800dt adds another $250 to an already expensive base model, you could still find more affordable printers but the value however seems a bit better here with the extra additions.
