The HP DeskJet 356cbi inkjet printer attempts to be a compact and portable on the go printer but falls short of this goal. The DeskJet 350cbi is relatively small size however its over 5 pound weight takes much away from that. The shoe box sized inkjet printer can connect to a PC or MAC via a parallel port or infrared adaptor. The DeskJet 350cbi also has a battery option but the life is relatively short and adds further weight. Of course you’re not expecting the highest quality but the DeskJet 350cbi’s 600 x 600 dpi prints are quite unimpressive. The text is fair at best and the graphics are down right poor. In addition printing speed is slow with about a max speed of 4 pages per minute. The printer uses a single Tricolor HP 49 ink cartridge. Overall, the DeskJet 350cbi is a flawed (and expensive) attempt at creating a portable inkjet printing solution and you can definitely find better options.
