The HP Photosmart 375 is part of HP’s portable photo printer line that emphasizes convenience and portability. The lunch box sized printer can connect to a PC or MAC; but it can also work standalone via its slots for all major memory cards, PictBridge support for directly connecting your digital camera, and a color 2.5 inch LCD screen with minor editing features. The 375b finally allows for true portability with an integrated battery (a feature that was sorely lacking on previous models). The trade off for this portability is somewhat in the prints. The Photosmart 375b prints only borderless 4 x 6 color photos at 4,800 x 1,200 dpi with slightly less vivid colors than non portable photo printers, but they are of overall good quality and prints at a swift one and a half minute per 4 x 6 photo. The printer uses a single Tricolor HP 95 Vivera ink cartridge and accepts optional Gray Photo HP 100 Vivera ink cartridge. Overall, if you are all about simplicity and convenience over completely perfect printing, the Photosmart 375b the printer for you.
