The HP DeskJet 460wbt is a continuation the 460 line with a change in the features. The 4.5 lb DeskJet 460wbt prints 4,800 x 1,200 optimized dpi resolution prints of solid quality across the board maintaining crisp, sharp text and graphics along with vivid colors. It uses a 2 ink cartridge system with 4 colors (HP 94 Black Vivera Inkjet and HP 95 Vivera Tricolor Inkjet) but the black can be manually replaced with a photo ink cartridges (HP 99 Vivera Photo Inkjet or HP 100 Gray Photo Inkjet) for six colors, something that is usually found in the larger inkjets. They’re not individual cartridges however so they are less efficient and might cost more in the long run. Connectivity wise there are slots for most major memory cards, a PictBridge port for directly connecting to your digital camera for computer free printing, and integrated Bluetooth adaptor for wireless printing. The DeskJet 460wbt also has a researchable lithium ion battery which can handle 450 pages per charge. The print speeds are a relatively swift 16 pages per minute. Overall, the DeskJet 460wbt’s Bluetooth abilities along with all the other features somewhat justify the high cost. If it isn’t necessary the baser DeskJet 460cb is a better buy.
