HP DeskJet 5650 Inkjet Printer

The HP DeskJet 5650 is an inkjet photo printer that would be ideal in a home or small office environment. The PC and MAC compatible DeskJet 5650 offers quality color photo prints of up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. The text is printed in fine quality with minimal errors; the graphics are, along with the photos, printed vividly and accurately (especially if using photo ink cartridges). The DeskJet 5650 also has wireless network support and a duplexer for double sided printing as optional (expensive) attachments. The printing speeds are quite fast with an average top speed of 19 pages per minute. The printer uses a 2 ink cartridge system with 4 colors (HP 56 Black Inkjet and HP 57 Tricolor Inkjet) but the black can be manually replaced with a photo ink (HP 58 Photo Inkjet or HP 59 Gray Photo Inkjet) for six colors. Since these are not individual cartridges they are less efficient and might cost more in the long run, something to consider.
