HP PhotoSmart 7150 Inkjet Printer

The HP Photosmart 7150 is an inkjet photo printer that’s ideal for homes and small offices looking for a reliable, steady inkjet. The Photosmart 7150 offers high quality color photo prints of up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. The text and graphics are laser-like in sharpness and clarity, in addition to the high quality photo prints. It is PC and MAC compatible but also allows for computer free printing since it has a front USB slot for direct printing from select digital cameras. In addition of memory card slots would have been helpful as well though. The printing speeds are comparably fast, with a little over 5 minutes for an 8.5 x 11 photo. The printer uses a 2 ink cartridge system with 4 colors (HP 56 Black Inkjet and HP 57 Tricolor Inkjet) but the black can be manually replaced with a photo ink (HP 58 Photo Inkjet or HP 59 Gray Photo Inkjet) for six colors. Since these are not individual ink cartridges they are less efficient and might cost more in the long run. Despite the slight lack of features, the Photosmart 7150 is recommendable for its quality and performance.
