HP Photosmart 8150 Printer

The HP Photosmart 8150 is a high quality inkjet photo printer for the home and small office. The PC and MAC compatible Photosmart 8150 offers good text, graphics, and especially exceptional color photo prints of up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. It allows for computer free printing through its slots for all major memory cards, PictBridge port for direct printing from your digital camera, and a generous 2.5 inch color LCD screen. The printing speeds are surprisingly fast, with an average top speed of 19 pages per minute. The printer uses a 2 ink cartridge system with 4 colors (HP 94 Black Vivera Ink and HP 95 Vivera Tricolor Ink) but the black can be manually replaced with a photo ink (HP 99 Vivera Photo Inkjet or HP 100 Gray Photo Inkjet) for six colors. One thing to note however, since they’re not individual cartridges they are less efficient and might cost more in the long run. Overall the Photosmart 8150 is a great combination of performance, features, and price and is highly recommended for homes and small offices.
