The prints are of solid quality when it comes to text and graphics, which come out sharp and crisp. Photos fair in the mediocre to sub par category with banding, tone errors, and overall lack of saturation. The DeskJet 832c uses a 2 ink cartridge system with 4 colors (HP 45 Black Inkjet and HP 23 Tricolor Inkjet), but you must note however that since they’re not individual cartridges they are less efficient and might cost more in the long run. The print speeds are on the speedier side with an average 19 pages per minute. While reliable and simple the high price doesn’t match the lack of features. Overall, if you put a high premium on dependability and ease and have the money to spend this is a worthwhile printer. For others there are more affordable, comparable options.
