HP Photosmart 8750 Professional Printer

The HP Photosmart 8750 Professional is a medium format photo printer for the photo enthusiast. The Photosmart 8750 uses a 9 color Vivera ink cartridge system in printing professional quality photos of up to 13 x 19 at optimized 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. It is PC and MAC compatible but also allows for computer free printing with its multiple memory slots, direct PictBridge port for direct printing from your digital camera, and a monochrome LCD screen. The few drawbacks of the Photosmart 8750 would be its relatively slower printing time of about 5 minutes for a 8 x 10 photo at high settings, lack of a roll paper print feature, and the fact that the 9 ink colors are actually 3 tri-color ink cartridges (HP 97 Tri-color, HP 102 Grey Photo, and HP 101 Blue Photo) so, as with most HP consumer printers, after one color depletes the whole cartridge is thrown out, which might be costly in the long run. Minor issues aside, the Photosmart 8750 is a decent choice for the photo enthusiast who wants to take their printing to the next level.
