The HP Business Inkjet 2300n is a decent inkjet printer for an office but it’s far too expensive and light on features. The text and graphics are of good quality; in terms of photos, it is definitely sub par, displaying the occasional banding and spottiness one might find in a sub-$100 inkjet. The Inkjet 2300 has a 4 color ink printing system that utilizes individual ink tanks (HP 10 Black Inkjet, HP 11 Cyan Ink, HP 11 Magenta Ink, HP 11 Yellow Ink) a rare trait for an HP printer that will give more efficient and cost effective ink usage. In addition to the 400 sheet capacity of the 2300, this model includes Ethernet support as well. The print speed for text and graphics is relatively swift at around 22 pages per minute, while the photo speed is a bit on the slow side with 4 and a half minutes for a high quality 5 x 7 photo. Overall, the at best average printing and networking abilities doesn’t justify the high cost. There are definitely better printers for your small office.
