HP OfficeJet Pro K550dtn Color Printer

The HP OfficeJet Pro K550dtn is an improvement on the original K550 inkjet printer. The Pro K550dtn is PC and MAC compatible and has a maximum resolution of up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi. The printing is of great quality, almost laser printer like in sharpness for text and graphics, photos lose a little in terms of grain and high detail, but are still more than presentation worthy. The extra features of this model are an additional 350 sheet paper tray (for a hefty 600 sheets total) and Ethernet ports for network printing. The printer uses 4 individual ink cartridges (HP 88 Black Ink, HP 88 Cyan Ink, HP 88 Magenta Ink, HP 88 Yellow Ink) a rarity among HP printers that will be more efficient and cost effective ink wise. The speed is great with a max estimated speed of 30 pages per minute for text and graphics. Aside from the somewhat pricy cost, this is a great business printer for a home office or small business.
