Lexmark P6350 Inkjet Printer

The Lexmark P6350 is an affordable multifunction inkjet printer aimed at the home user. The P6350 is PC and MAC compatible and scans/copies at 48 bit with 1,200 x 2,400 dpi resolution. The color printing is at a max 4,800 x 1,200 optimized dpi while black and white is at decent 2400 x 1200 dpi. The P4350 prints text and graphics with only minor errors in color and sharpness. The photos are only average with occasional shading and tone problems. Printing speed is on the slower side of fair with an average top speed of about 16 pages per minute. Feature wise the P6350 has slots for all major memory cards, a PictBridge port for direct connections to your digital camera, and a 2.4 inch color LCD screen, for computer free printing. The printer uses 6 colors through 2 ink cartridges: Tri-color ink (33 / 18C0033) and Tri-color photo ink (31 / 18C0031). The black ink (32 / 18C0032) is also swappable. The lack of individual ink cartridges however might cost more in the long run. Overall, the P6350, despite the lower marks for speed and quality it is still a decent choice for an affordable, dependable, multifunction printer.
