The Lexmark X8350 is a full featured, higher end, by Lexmark standards, multifunction inkjet printer for the home or small office. The X8350 is PC and MAC compatible and faxes/scans/copies at 48 bit with 2,400 x 4,800 dpi resolution. The color printing is at a max 4,800 x 1,200 optimized dpi while black and white is at decent 2400 x 1200 dpi. The X8350 prints texts, graphics and photos are of very good quality across the board with full colors and minimal errors. Printing is relatively swift with an average top speed of 20 pages per minute. The X8350 has slots for memory cards, a 2.4 inch color LCD, and a PictBridge port for direct connections to your digital camera. The X8350 also has optional Ethernet or wireless adaptors as well. The printer uses 6 colors through 2 ink cartridges: Tri-color ink (33 / 18C0033) and Tri-color photo ink (31 / 18C0031). The black ink (32 / 18C0032 is also swappable. The lack of individual ink thanks however might cost more in the long run.
