The Lexmark Z515 is another in Lexmark’s trademark line of extremely affordable home inkjet printers. The printing is at a resolution of up to 2,400 x 1,200 dpi but the speed is downright slow with an average top speed of 10 pages per minute. The Z515’s simple two color ink cartridge non individual system of tricolor (26 / 10N0026) and black (16 / 10N0016) is inefficient and might lead to higher costs in the long run. Overall, the amazing price and the above average performance might warrant a consideration as a backup printer or lightly used main printer.
