The Lexmark X83 Ink Jet printer is a fairly inexpensive all in one printer. This is a great printer for those who have a home office and are looking for the versatility of a multi-function printer, all at a low price. The Lexmark X83 does a great job printing and the copier works very well, especially when color copying. The printer is fairly quick and the Lexmark X83 is an all around easy to use machine. Do keep in mind that when you don’t pay a lot for a multi-function color printer, there are bound to be some pitfalls. For instance, with the Lexmark X83, its size is, well, pretty big. Also, if you are determined to find a multi-function color printer that is quiet, well, this isn’t the one for you. On the contrary, it is quite noisy. The software that the Lexmark X83 comes with is not the most user friendly software, but many a novice will figure it out. And just a reminder, with any Lexmark printer, please keep in mind that the ink cartridges are rather costly. So other than a few pitfalls with the Lexmark X83, it is a good printer if you are in need of an inexpensive multi-function color printer that delivers great quality.
